A Breath of Alaturka Met Again on This Stage

Bir Nefes Alaturka Interpreters, who first performed in 1980, came together 35 years later in Izmir for KİTVAK. The members of the group interpret 'Alaturka' as a way of thinking and living and aim to make the audience feel it. Nihat Demirkol, who described the content of the concert as 'an original repertoire interspersed with poetry, lyrics, love, memories, humour, satire, art and Sufism colours, adorned with stories taken from the history of literature', said: "We try to use Turkish well, we offer a thematic music and conversation togetherness to art lovers."
